Parking at Grand Living

We’re so fortunate that our community members who live at Grand Living at The Grove (4401 Jessie Hts Dr, Austin, TX 78731) are making their lovely “Forum Theatre” available to Kol Shira for some of our events!

Many of our community members have asked questions about parking at Grand Living. Here’s a detailed guide.

Free Valet Parking (9am-5pm Usually)

  • Take advantage of the free valet parking between the hours of 9am and 5pm — or later if the valet stays late.

  • Drive up to the Grand Living entrance and ask the valet to park your car. They will park it in the garage under the building. They will either give you the keys or keep them for you at the front desk.

  • When you leave, you can go down to the underground garage if you wish and drive out on your own.

  • Please remember to provide a tip for the valet.

Self-Park (With 3 Hours Free Using Our Code)

Step 1: Bring your smart phone

  • You must have an internet-enabled smart phone to use the garage. There are no attendants.

Step 2: Park in Garage 1

  • Use Garage 1 which you can see directly across from the Grand Living main entrance:

    • If you have previously registered with Metropolis Parking you will receive a friendly text message welcoming you to the garage as soon as you drive in.

    • If you have not registered before, you must register your vehicle. See Step 3.

  • If the lower level is filled, you may park on the upper level after 6pm or on weekends.

Step 3: Register your car

  • If you have not previously registered your car:

    • After you park look for the green signs with instructions. See photo below.

    • If you have any trouble scanning the sign to register, just use this web address on your phone: https://app.metropolis.io/sign-in

    • Enter your vehicle information and a credit card for payment. (You will get 3 hours free after entering the discount code. See step 4.)

    • Keep the web page open on your phone as you enter the building, so you can scan the discount code.

Step 4: Come inside to Kol Shira, then apply the discount code for 3 hours free

  • Come inside Grand Living and find the Kol Shira event at the Forum Theatre

  • Pick up one of our paper slips showing the parking discount code (see below).

  • You can apply the discount code at any time prior to exiting the garage. Best to do it right away!

  • Getting to the right page to enter the code:

    • If you received a text message from Metropolis when you drove in, click on the link to get to a page where you can enter the discount code.

    • If your parking registration is still open on your phone from registering while you were in the garage, you can enter the discount there.

  • Click on the green-colored “Scan Discount Code” link at the top of the Metropolis screen. Use it to scan the QR code on our paper slip.
