General Information

Leading in Song

  • Music Makers enhance the beauty and spirit of our services by helping to lead the congregation in song.

  • Just singing from your seat helps lift everyone’s voices.

  • And preparing the music and learning harmonies by attending rehearsals is fun and connects you to our community!

  • For singers: All you need is a love of making music. You do not need to be skilled in Hebrew or reading music. “By ear” singers are welcome.

  • For instrumentalists: ability to play proficiently (at least intermediate level) either by ear or by reading music is required.

  • You are also encouraged to sing along with all other music, in addition to the pieces we rehearse together, as part of our singing congregation.
