General Information
Leading in Song
Music Makers enhance the beauty and spirit of our services by helping to lead the congregation in song.
Just singing from your seat helps lift everyone’s voices.
And preparing the music and learning harmonies by attending rehearsals is fun and connects you to our community!
For singers: All you need is a love of making music. You do not need to be skilled in Hebrew or reading music. “By ear” singers are welcome.
For instrumentalists: ability to play proficiently (at least intermediate level) either by ear or by reading music is required.
You are also encouraged to sing along with all other music, in addition to the pieces we rehearse together, as part of our singing congregation.

Please remember to RSVP for each rehearsal and each service where you will sing.

Preparation:
Are you a paper person? Please print out music PDFs for yourself ahead of time and put them in a binder, and please bring a pencil, pen, and/or highlighter to rehearsals.
Are you a digital person? You can access all of the music on a phone, tablet, or other device using the link above. You may wish to copy files to your local device and even annotate them if you have appropriate software.
Each service date folder contains a Service Outline chart. The pieces we will work on are the ones in the following chart that have an X in the CHOIR column
