Shabbat and Holidays

Musical, Collaborative Prayer and Celebration

Shabbat and Jewish holidays are opportunities for joy, community, participation, and learning for all ages. We gather regularly for celebrations that emphasize warmth, accessibility, discussion and participation—including music. Prayer is shaped by voices rising together, infused with ruach—energy, joy, and shared spirit.

Our Music Makers group plays an important role in our Shabbat and holiday gatherings, helping support congregational singing—not as performers, but as partners in helping congregants raise their voices together and experience services more fully.

Prior experience with Jewish ritual is never assumed. Curiosity and presence are enough.
