Your generous donation will help build and sustain the Kol Shira community!

We appreciate donations of any amount.

You can make your donation a Tribute in honor or in memory of a friend or loved one and we will send them an acknowledgment to let them know you are thinking of them with your gift. See instructions below or send a message to our Treasurer.

What is our non-profit status?

Kol Shira is applying for tax-exempt nonprofit status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Once our application is approved, our tax-exempt status will be retroactive to September 8, 2025.

We will update all our community members as soon as our IRS filing is approved. In the meantime, thank you for supporting Kol Shira as we take these foundational steps together.

Option 1: Zelle

  • If your bank supports Zelle, you can make a donation with zero processing fees.

  • Scan this QR code to find out if your bank supports Zelle. If it does, you can also scan the QR code in the Zelle option within your bank app to set up a payment:

  • To designate your donation as a tribute, please add a comment via Zelle, or send a message to our treasurer.

  • Note: There are temporary limitations on how many Zelle payments we can accept per day. If you receive an error, please try again.

Option 2: DonorBox

  • Donating via DonorBox using the form below will allow you to donate by ACH bank transfer or credit card.

  • You can also set up recurring donations if you wish.

  • DonorBox charges processing fees, which you can choose to cover, as follows:

    • ACH bank transfer: Approximately 3.8% (capped at a maximum of $30).

    • Credit card: Approximately 5.15% plus $0.30 per transaction.

Option 3: Send a check

Donor-advised funds?

  • Kol Shira is not able to accept donations from donor-advised funds until our non-profit status is approved.

  • Once we receive our IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter, we will update these instructions.

  • In the meantime, if you plan to make a future donation from a donor-advised fund, feel free to send a message to our treasurer to let us know.
