Lay Leader Training for Shiva Minyans

An opportunity for Jewish learning and to support the Kol Shira community when Cantor Gostein is away: learn how to help lead a shiva minyan service. We'll discuss ways one can comfort a mourner and learn skills for both musical and non-musical shiva minyan leadership. Cantor Gostein will guide you to use your strengths to partner with others to confidently lead the community in prayer with user-friendly materials that she has prepared for you and the congregation.
