Learn to Lead a Shiva Minyan — Part 2

This is an opportunity for Jewish learning and to support the Kol Shira community when Cantor Gostein is away: learn how to help lead a shiva minyan service.

At Part 1, we we discussed ways one can comfort a mourner and began learning skills for both musical and non-musical shiva minyan leadership. At this Part 2 gathering, we’ll practice what we learned at Part 1 and will do a run-through of a service. Cantor Gostein will guide you to use your strengths to partner with others to confidently lead the community in prayer with user-friendly materials that she has prepared for you and the congregation.
